Send any information that you think could be helpful for the artist. We will discuss the desired size of the painting, technique, deadlines and frame. We will also make sure the painting fits your interior and decide on delivery and packaging.
You may buy a Gift certificate in case you do not have enough time before the event.
HALF-PRICE PAYMENT
We work on a pre-paid basis. The work will start when we receive an advance payment of 50 per cent of the contract price.
SKETCH APPROVAL AND START OF WORK
The artist may go to the customer, if necessary, to discuss further details. The artist makes sketches and photos to collect working material - interior, landscape, furnishings that can be included in the composition.
Our studio is located in Moscow, and we can meet there.
In the first place, the artist produces sketches in preparation for the painting. At this stage, the customer sees the composition, the placement of various details and objects in the canvas. We specify the size, tonality and color. Then the painting starts!
In addition, at the client’s request, a photo of each phase of work can be taken and provided after the end of the work.
The process of working on a portrait
Pastel is a lightfast material. The picture will last for centuries.
I start by working on the eye.

I select the frame so that it fits both the portrait and the interior.

PAYMENT OF THE OUTSTANDING AMOUNT AND FRAMING
We choose a frame that will fit both the portrait and your interior. We dispose a wide selection of different frames, which allows you to fit the portrait into any modern or classic interior.
At the request of the customer: we can make a metal plate with engraving and do the paperwork for export abroad.
You see the finished portrait and pay the remaining sum. In case the painting needs to be sent to another city or country, I will give a high-quality photo of the finished portrait before sending it.
